The educational service of ATEF aims to become an essential element for the accomplishment of the cultural mission of this Association. In addition to its emblematic action with children and adolescents, related to the Theatre for Children, with a greater impact on the school public, we also consider it to be a decisive factor in the creation of meaningful and lasting relationships with people of all ages.
Knowledge and skills. Creating bridges of access to the cultural offer, contributing to the elimination of intellectual and social barriers, providing the tools for the general public to interrogate and interrogate, stimulating their critical sense and adopting an attitude of permanent discovery.

In addition to the permanent training workshops mentioned here, there will also be temporary thematic workshops that we will announce in the programming context for the 2017-2018 artistic season and which will be part of ATEF’s public training strategies.

Regulation Notes

Those interested in this service should pre-register by completing the form.
Payment of the amount for registration + insurance should be made on the first day of the activity, with the final registration being considered as from that date.
Payment of tuition fees must be made by the 8th of each month at ATEF.
The cancellation of the registration can be made for a justified reason, before the beginning of the activity, and the value paid for it will be refunded.
The activity will start in the first week of October.
Places of the activity: ATEF headquarters (Rua do Hospital Velho, nº 42) and facilities of OFICINA VERSUS TEATRO (Travessa do Quinta do Leme nº4 / St António).
Projects / activities / groups will be open to children, young people and adults with special needs, subject to prior interview, to ensure that they meet the conditions for participation in the desired group and / or need some specific support.

Any of these training activities will only happen/take place if we have at least 5 registrations.
For GETTEF groups (Creative Theatre and Theatre Assembly), those who register are required to present a certification that proves their physical strength.
The Education Officer or the practitioner, who is of legal age, must sign the authorisation document for ATEF to use any pictures/ images taken during training by ATEF, indicated on the registration form (Annex 3).
Other attachments: Annex 1 / authorisation of responsibility over minors; Annex 2 / clinical history, physical condition and special care (if applicable); Annex 4 / Medical statement of physical robustness (where applicable).

Meditation for children and adolescents, as an experience of self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-esteem, through mindfulness exercises (mindfulness here and now) – games, relaxation and breathing exercises, guided meditation, etc. – for better connect with yourself and better manage your emotions.
